National Philanthropy

The Delta Mu chapter at UMass is a strong supporter of the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation. This National foundation was put in place to raise funds that are able to support victims of domestic violence as well as raise awareness of the growing issue. All of the money donated goes to helping women who are affected by abusive relationships as well as giving others the knowledge they need to know how to help. Remember, love shouldn't hurt.

Alpha Chi Omega Foundation

Nationally Alpha Chi Omega is a supporter of briging awareness to Domestic Violence. As a member of Alpha Chi Omega you take part in a number of different events throughout the year that support our national philanthropy, the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation, as well as a number of local organizations. Our sisters take immence pride in bringing and end to domestic violence. Alpha Chi Omega, nationally, also has a strict anti-hazing policy. In the eyes of our organization, hazing is a form of domestic violence and therefore we have zero tolerance for it. These hands do not hurt.

Hazing in any form is unacceptable. Alpha Chi Omega takes this very seriously becuase as an organization we view it as a form of Domestic Violence. The Delta Mu chapter takes part in the National Hazing Prevention Week by educating others as well as our own chapter on the forms and harms of hazing. These hands do not and will not hurt a sister, a friend or any loved one.
